Great Kit

I purchased the coilover conversion kit for my 2018 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and recently installed it at the maximum recommended lift height of 2 inches.
Immediately after installation, the ride felt noticeably firm and somewhat bouncy. After several days of driving, the springs began to settle in and the ride improved, although it remains firmer than it was with my previous 1.5-inch top spacer. Even so, I prefer the coilover conversion because it keeps the suspension geometry much closer to the OEM setup.
I strongly recommend installing the 1-inch differential drop, especially when running the coilovers at their maximum height. It noticeably improves the CV axle angles. Without the differential drop, full suspension extension could place excessive stress on the CV boots and potentially cause one to tear.
Compared with the top spacer, I would rather accept a firmer ride in exchange for maintaining proper droop travel. A top spacer reduces available droop, increasing the possibility of topping out the shocks.
For reference, my truck is running 285/70R17 BFGoodrich KO3 tires. Overall, I recommend the coilover conversion over a top spacer, particularly for anyone who values better suspension travel and geometry.
